CLC Lithuania - national assembly
As each spring we have national essamblie, this year it happened at 19 March 2011 in Kaunas. Community members from Vilnius, Kaunas, Siauliai, Panevezys, Rokiskis, Anyksciai, Alytus where participated 70 participants in total. Also we had guests from Latvia’s CLC, as usually, and also jesuit’s – priests: Gintaras Vitkus, Stasys Kazėnas, Algis and Aldonas Gudaičiai, Mindaugas Malinauskas where participating as well.
Essamblie started with common prayer and pr. Gitaras Vitkus congradulated all participants and also new members of Lithuanian CLC and told that he wishes us of God’s blessing in our lifes and follow Josef’s example, who was so faitfull and able take care about Marry and her child all his life.
Then we had a conference “Who we are in Church and in the world life?”, leader of this conference Petras Plumpa told about his own experience and feelings, how beliefe helped him survive during long yers in a prisson at Soviet times and how Bible gives as a spirit of Life and how need to shear it with others appears.
After it we had reflections in a small groups and shearead our thougths and feelings in a common circle.
Later Kristina Rankelyte, a leader of national Esxo presented situation in our community during a year: we have some new groups and now there are totally 25 local communities and 215 members totally. Also regional meetings started and became regullary from 2010.
Sigute Martinkeviciute presented financial situation and also we had a woting about logo - everybody agreed on having this logo of Lithuanian CLC and title.
Finally new assitent of our community father Algis Gudaitis had some summary about the assamblea and possibillity to meet each other and share and wished us to feel more strong to keep belief in our daily life and activities.
At the end alltogether we had Eucharistia in a Pranciškus Ksaver churche.
